QServices builds custom software for Munich companies in Manufacturing, Automotive, and Insurance. We are India-based and remote-first, not headquartered in Munich, with 3 to 4 hours of CET morning overlap daily. As a Microsoft Solutions Partner, we serve German businesses with .NET, Azure, and React platforms designed for EU GDPR and BaFin requirements from the ground up.
Munich's economy runs on manufacturing, automotive supply chains, and insurance carriers. All three sectors share a common problem: core operational workflows have grown too specific for off-the-shelf software, but IT budgets cannot absorb the cost of enterprise ERP customization alone.
All custom software built for German clients operates under EU GDPR. Insurance and financial services software additionally falls under BaFin supervision, which affects data residency choices, audit logging requirements, and access control design. We treat both as design constraints from the start, not compliance checkboxes added at the end of a project.
Our engineering team is based in India on IST (UTC+5:30). Munich runs on CET (UTC+1) in winter and CEST (UTC+2) in summer. The time gap is 4.5 hours in winter and 3.5 hours in summer. In practice, this gives us a reliable 3-hour overlap window from 9am to 12pm CET each morning for daily standups, code reviews, and sprint demos with your stakeholders.
Outside that window, we work asynchronously. Sprint plans go out every Monday in writing. Progress updates arrive twice a week, written and timestamped. Every demo is recorded so stakeholders who cannot attend live still see the work. We use Teams or Slack, whichever your team already runs, and we do not ask you to adopt new tools.
We do not have a Munich office. What we offer instead is a structured engagement, named engineers on every project, and a full Git audit trail for every line of code. On-site visits to Munich for a discovery workshop or a milestone review are available as planned, budgeted trips.
We have not delivered a project specifically for a Munich client. We will not construct a reference that does not exist. Two completed projects are relevant to Munich's Insurance and financial services sectors.
International payments and remittance business, Jamaica
Reduced transaction fees by approximately 30 percent through optimized gateway routing
Cut settlement times from 3-5 days to under 24 hours with a unified reconciliation engine and audit trail
Varipay is a cross-border payment gateway aggregator connecting Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and regional gateways behind a single API with a unified reconciliation engine and audit trail. Transaction fees dropped around 30 percent through optimized gateway routing and settlement times fell from 3 to 5 days to under 24 hours. Munich-based insurance carriers managing cross-border reinsurance payments or multi-currency policyholder payouts face structurally similar integration problems.
Financial analysis SaaS startup, US
100x speed increase in Excel data handling versus the previous manual process
Won enterprise customers against well-funded competitors including interest from Franklin Templeton and Goldman Sachs
Analyst Intelligence is a financial analysis and forecasting platform with a React front end, Python data layer, and Excel and Google Sheets add-ins. Processing speed improved 100x over the previous manual workflow, and the platform attracted serious interest from Franklin Templeton and Goldman Sachs. Munich insurers and asset managers running analyst workflows on spreadsheets today will recognize the use case immediately.
For Manufacturing and Automotive use cases, our .NET and Azure background maps directly to ERP connectors, supplier APIs, and production data pipelines common in Bavarian industry. We have not published a case study from those sectors and will not claim one. If your project is in Manufacturing or Automotive, we are happy to walk through our technical approach on a call. See also our custom software for Insurance page for more on regulated-industry delivery.
All pricing is in USD. Conversion to EUR is at the current spot rate and is not built into our quotes. Our India-based team structure means rates remain competitive even after conversion against local German or Western European vendors.
Typical project brackets:
For German clients: GDPR-compliant design adds 15–25% to the base estimate. BaFin-regulated projects carry an additional compliance review cost of $5,000–$20,000 depending on scope. Each non-trivial third-party integration, such as SAP, Salesforce, or a regional payment gateway, adds $3,000–$12,000. See our full custom software development pricing breakdown for details.
Three steps: a 45-minute discovery call to understand your problem and constraints, a written scoping document with a fixed-price estimate or time-and-materials range, and a project start date agreed before any payment is required. No retainer until you approve the scope. Fill in the form below and we will respond within one business day.
Yes. All our German engagements run remotely. We do not have a Munich office. We cover 3 hours of CET morning overlap for live calls, standups, and sprint reviews. All code lives in version control with a full commit and review history. Data infrastructure defaults to Azure's Germany North or Netherlands regions, keeping data within the EU for GDPR purposes. For projects requiring BaFin-compliant audit documentation or a formal data processing agreement, we prepare those as part of the project scope. We use Teams or Slack and align to your existing tooling, not the other way around.
