QServices is a custom software development company serving Dallas businesses across FinTech, Healthcare, Telecom, and Logistics. We are not headquartered in Dallas. We are a remote-first software consultancy based in India with 4 to 5 hours of Central Time overlap each day. See our full services portfolio.
Dallas sits at the intersection of several regulated, transaction-heavy industries. The project types we see most often from this market:
If your project touches consumer PII, patient data, or financial records, the TDPA sets the minimum floor for data handling in Texas. We scope compliance into the discovery phase, not as a retrofit. The Texas Attorney General's data privacy office maintains current TDPA guidance for businesses operating in the state.
Our team is based in India (IST, UTC+5:30). Dallas operates on Central Time (UTC-6 standard, UTC-5 daylight saving). When Dallas is at 9 AM CT, it is 8:30 PM IST. Our engineers work an overlap shift from 8 PM to midnight IST, which covers the Dallas morning window of 9 AM to 1 PM CT. That is where standups, demo calls, and synchronous decision-making happen.
Communication runs on Slack or Microsoft Teams. Code reviews happen on GitHub with documented pull requests. We do not merge without a second reviewer. Sprint demos run every two weeks with a recorded walkthrough you can share internally. Written status reports go out every Friday.
Accountability follows a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) governance model. You review and approve the deliverable at each phase gate before we build the next phase. For kickoff and critical milestone reviews, we can coordinate an on-site visit to Dallas on request.
We have not built software for a publicly nameable Dallas-headquartered client. The two closest examples in our portfolio are both in FinTech, one of Dallas's primary industries.
International payments and remittance business, Jamaica
Reduced transaction fees by approximately 30 percent through optimized gateway routing
Cut settlement times from 3-5 days to under 24 hours with a unified reconciliation engine and audit trail
For Varipay, an international payments and remittance business, we built a cross-border payment gateway aggregator using microservices across Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and regional gateways. Transaction fees dropped by approximately 30 percent, and settlement times fell from 3 to 5 days to under 24 hours. The reconciliation engine and audit trail work is directly relevant to Dallas FinTech companies managing multi-rail payments or cross-border flows. See the full Varipay case study.
Financial analysis SaaS startup, US
100x speed increase in Excel data handling versus the previous manual process
Won enterprise customers against well-funded competitors including interest from Franklin Templeton and Goldman Sachs
For Analyst Intelligence, a US-based financial analysis SaaS startup, we built a React and Python platform with Excel and Google Sheets add-ins. Data handling speed increased 100x over the prior manual process, and the product drew interest from Franklin Templeton and Goldman Sachs. Dallas wealth management and financial services firms with similar data-processing constraints will find this work relevant. See the full Analyst Intelligence case study.
All engagements are priced in USD. Our rates run from $20 per hour for standard development to $65 per hour for senior architects. Typical project brackets:
If your project involves HIPAA, TDPA, or TDI compliance obligations, budget an additional 15 to 25 percent for the audit trail, access controls, and documentation that regulated work requires. Each non-trivial third-party integration adds $3,000 to $12,000. See the full custom software development cost breakdown for more detail.
Step one is a 45-minute discovery call where we cover the business problem, the data involved, and any compliance requirements. From there, we produce a written scoping document that defines the work, the timeline, and the cost before a single line of code is written. If the scope looks right, we set a project start date and begin with a structured discovery phase.
The lead form below goes directly to Sahil Kataria, our CEO, who handles all new client conversations.
Yes. All of our US client engagements are remote. Our team works an evening shift in India (8 PM to midnight IST) to overlap with Dallas mornings (9 AM to 1 PM CT). We use Slack or Microsoft Teams for day-to-day communication and GitHub for code review.
Data is hosted in Azure US East or US Central regions unless you specify otherwise. For clients with Texas Data Privacy Act obligations, we sign a Data Processing Agreement and build TDPA-compliant data handling into the architecture from day one. If your project falls under TDI regulation or HIPAA, we include the relevant controls in the project plan from the scoping phase. The Texas Department of Insurance publishes the applicable licensing and data requirements for insurance-adjacent software products.
