SAP Business One, connected through the Service Layer.
SAP Business One runs more than 83,000 small and mid-sized companies. QServices connects it to banks, CRMs, web stores and e-invoicing providers through SAP's Service Layer, adds AI agents for the manual finance work, and helps you plan for version 10.0's end of mainstream maintenance on 31 December 2028.
The same integration works on SQL Server and HANA.
Version 10.0SQL Server or HANA
Version 11expected 2027, per a partnerSAP offers mainstream maintenance only, with no extended option, so the end date is the end date.
SAP says version 11 follows version 10. SAP has moved this date before, so check again.
From SAP's Business One maintenance page, checked 22 October 2026. SAP lists all 9.x and 8.8x releases as already out of maintenance.
The Service Layer is the modern route and works the same on SQL Server and HANA.
| Route | What it is | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Service Layer | REST following OData v4 (and v3), OAuth from FP2305 | OData v3 deprecated in FP2405; sessions time out after 30 minutes; batches are all or nothing |
| DI API | The older COM and .NET interface, used by add-ons | Runs where Business One is installed |
| Integration Framework (B1if) | SAP's built-in integration tool | Best for SAP-to-SAP and simple scenarios |
From SAP Learning and third-party API guides (Apideck), labelled as such in our sources.
Companies with revenue of AED 50M or more go live on 1 January 2027, and smaller ones on 1 July 2027. Your accredited provider handles Peppol; Business One has to supply complete invoice data.
TIN, legal registration type and emirate on every customer and supplier.
VAT codes mapped to the UAE categories, credit notes instead of negative invoices.
Invoices out and acknowledgements back through the Service Layer.
UAE e-invoicingWe found no SAP-native generative AI or Joule for Business One. Partner add-ons and custom agents fill the gap.
| Option | What it is | Who provides it |
|---|---|---|
| Partner AI add-ons | Copilot-style assistants for Business One | Partners such as Vision33 (not SAP) |
| Custom agents | Cash application, collections and order entry agents through the Service Layer, with approvals | Built for you, by us |
Fixed price per phase.
Your version, add-ons, integrations and data, with what 10.0's end date means for you.
UAE e-invoicing, integrations or agents first, by deadline and hours saved.
OData v4 integrations that work on SQL Server and HANA alike.
Under one SLA, with feature packs tested before they reach you.
Published figures vary: a third-party review site lists perpetual licences at about $1,357 to $3,213 a user and subscriptions from about $56 a user a month, while a partner quotes $200 to $250 a user a month for cloud plans and about 3 months for the simplest implementation. Integrations, add-ons and data decide the rest.
Ask whether they integrate through the Service Layer, how they handle add-ons when feature packs and version 11 arrive, what their plan is for UAE e-invoicing if you trade there, and who supports the system after go-live.
Yes, as custom agents or partner add-ons; SAP hasn't released its own generative AI for Business One. Agents read and write through the Service Layer, with a person approving anything that posts.
On 31 December 2028, per SAP's maintenance page, with no extended maintenance offered. SAP says version 11 will follow; a partner expects it in 2027.
Start with your deadlines: 10.0 maintenance, UAE e-invoicing, and the manual work in between.
