QServices is a remote-first software consultancy offering Azure cloud migration to Amsterdam businesses in FinTech, Logistics, and Tech. We are not based in Amsterdam. We work with Dutch clients through fully remote engagements with CET morning overlap.
Amsterdam's three main industries each bring distinct migration requirements. FinTech firms operating under DNB (De Nederlandsche Bank) supervision need cloud architectures that address data residency within EU regions, audit logging, and strict access controls from day one. Logistics companies need reliable uptime for real-time tracking and warehouse management systems. Tech companies building SaaS products need scalable cloud infrastructure that does not require a dedicated ops team.
Common project types we see in these sectors:
EU GDPR applies to every Amsterdam-based organisation processing personal data. For FinTech clients, DNB adds requirements around availability, incident response, and third-party risk management. These belong in the migration plan from day one, not tacked on during a compliance audit two years later.
Our team is based in India and works in IST. Amsterdam is in CET (UTC+1 in winter, UTC+2 during CEST in summer). Our afternoon overlaps with Amsterdam's morning, giving roughly 4 hours of live working time daily, typically 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CET.
Standard engagement structure:
We track work in Azure DevOps. You have direct access to sprint boards, backlogs, and deployment history. Architecture decisions that affect your GDPR or DNB compliance posture are documented and shared before implementation. Every AI-assisted task follows our Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) governance model: you review and approve before anything goes to production.
We do not have a published case study for a Netherlands-based client. The two closest matches by industry and technology are below.
Islamic bank, Somalia
100K+ downloads with 4.8-star rating on launch
First digital payment platform in a predominantly cash-based economy, enabling P2P transfers, merchant QR payments, and international remittances
The SomBank engagement involved building compliant financial infrastructure on Azure for a regulated bank. The stack included Azure Service Bus, Azure B2C for identity management, Azure Key Vault for secrets handling, and Ocelot API Gateway. The same architecture patterns apply directly to DNB-regulated FinTech clients in Amsterdam who need secure, auditable cloud infrastructure. The platform launched with 100K+ downloads and a 4.8-star rating.
IT project management SaaS startup
Real-time project tracking dashboards with AI-driven resource allocation suggestions and predictive planning
PI Planner for Program Increment planning with smart scope management and third-party connector integrations
For Ergonnex, we built a SaaS platform on Azure using React 18, Next.js, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL, with AI-driven features and third-party connector integrations. This is directly relevant to Amsterdam Tech companies modernising legacy applications or building new SaaS products that need reliable cloud infrastructure.
Project pricing is in USD. Amsterdam clients handle currency conversion. Indicative ranges for Azure cloud migration engagements:
For FinTech clients with DNB oversight, add 15 to 25 percent for regulatory overhead, covering audit logging, access control documentation, and third-party risk artefacts. For clients requiring a formal GDPR compliance review, add $5,000 to $20,000.
See our full Azure cloud migration pricing breakdown for a detailed explanation of what drives cost.
Three steps to kick off an engagement:
Yes. All our Amsterdam client work is fully remote. We do not have an office in the Netherlands. Our primary communication tools are Microsoft Teams and Slack. Live calls use the CET morning window, typically 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CET.
For GDPR compliance, we can sign a Data Processing Agreement as a data processor under GDPR Article 28. All Azure workloads are deployed by default in EU regions (West Europe or North Europe) to satisfy data residency requirements. For FinTech clients under DNB oversight, we provide architecture documentation and third-party risk artefacts as part of the engagement.
