QServices is a remote-first software consultancy delivering Azure cloud migration for Phoenix businesses in healthcare, real estate, and aerospace. We are not headquartered in Phoenix. We work with Arizona clients on remote engagements, with 2 to 3 hours of daily overlap during Phoenix mornings from our India-based team.
Phoenix's three primary industries each bring distinct requirements to a migration project.
Common project types across these industries: migrating on-premise SQL Server to Azure SQL, containerizing .NET applications for AKS, replacing legacy build systems with Azure DevOps pipelines, and configuring Azure Key Vault for secrets management. That last step is one most teams skip on first pass and address only after a security review. We build it in from the start.
For healthcare clients, Microsoft publishes an Azure HIPAA compliance guide covering platform-level controls. We layer application-level controls on top and document them in a format your compliance team can hand to an auditor.
Teams with HIPAA or Arizona breach notification obligations can see our Azure migration for healthcare page for more on how we scope those engagements.
Arizona does not observe daylight saving time, so the gap between Phoenix (MST, UTC-7) and our India team (IST, UTC+5:30) is fixed at 12.5 hours year-round. There is no seasonal recalibration. Our senior engineers work until 9 to 10 PM IST, which covers Phoenix's 7:30 AM to 10 AM MST window for live conversation.
A typical engagement runs like this:
We use Microsoft Teams or Slack depending on your toolchain. For Azure-heavy projects, Teams tends to be the natural fit given the Microsoft ecosystem. On-site visits are not standard, but we have traveled for critical milestone reviews on longer engagements.
We do not have a published Phoenix client. We will not pretend otherwise. What we can show is Azure migration work in regulated industries, which maps most directly to Phoenix healthcare and aerospace requirements.
For SomBank, an Islamic bank in Somalia, we built a mobile payment platform on Azure using Azure Service Bus, Azure B2C for identity, Azure Key Vault for secrets management, and Ocelot as the API gateway. The platform launched with 100,000+ downloads and a 4.8-star rating and became the first digital payment infrastructure in a predominantly cash-based economy. The Azure architecture from that project, particularly the identity management, secrets handling, and audit logging patterns, transfers directly to Phoenix healthcare workloads. Read the SomBank case study.
For Ergonnex, a SaaS startup, we deployed an AI-powered project management platform on Azure with real-time dashboards, a PI planner for program increment planning, and third-party connector integrations. Read the Ergonnex case study. The containerized Azure deployment and CI/CD setup from that project apply directly to a real estate tech company or mid-size aerospace firm modernizing a legacy stack.
Scope drives cost more than any other factor. Here is a practical breakdown for Phoenix-scale engagements:
For Phoenix healthcare clients, add 15 to 25 percent for HIPAA regulatory overhead. Each non-trivial third-party system integration (EHR, MLS data feed, ERP connector) adds $3,000 to $12,000. All engagements are priced in USD. Our hourly rate runs $35 to $65 depending on seniority. For a full breakdown, see our Azure cloud migration pricing page.
Yes. Our model is built for remote delivery. Arizona's no-DST policy makes Phoenix one of the more predictable US timezones to work with from India: the 12.5-hour gap between MST and IST is constant year-round. Meeting schedules do not shift twice a year the way they do with most other US states.
On data residency: if your workload requires data to stay in the United States (common for healthcare and expected for many aerospace programs), we deploy to US Azure regions only. East US or West US 2 are our typical choices for US clients. Code is written by our India-based team, but all runtime infrastructure and data storage stays in your chosen US Azure region. Nothing routes through India.
For Arizona's breach notification requirements under A.R.S. § 18-551 et seq., we design logging and access controls into the migration architecture so your security team has the audit trails needed to respond to an incident and meet the 45-day notification window. We are not a compliance firm, but we build systems that hold up under compliance audits.
