QServices is not headquartered in Charlotte, but we work with Charlotte clients in banking, FinTech, healthcare, and logistics on remote Azure cloud migration engagements with 4 to 5 hours of daily overlap in the ET morning window. QServices is a remote-first software consultancy serving Charlotte, North Carolina businesses in regulated industries.
Charlotte's economy runs on financial services and healthcare, two industries where cloud migration carries real compliance weight. Common project types we see from Charlotte-area buyers:
The compliance angle matters most for Charlotte's banking and insurance clients. NCDOI-regulated insurers and Federal Reserve member institutions cannot treat key management, audit logging, and data residency as afterthoughts. We build those in from the assessment phase, not after go-live.
Our engineering team is based in India and works on IST, which is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of Eastern Time. In summer (EDT), when Charlotte opens at 9 AM, our team is at 6:30 PM IST and available through roughly 1 PM ET. In winter (EST), the math shifts by one hour but the 4-to-5-hour ET morning overlap window stays consistent.
We do not have a Charlotte office. For engagements above $50,000, we can arrange an on-site kickoff or architecture review. Most clients find the remote model works well once the cadence is set, but we will say so upfront if your scope genuinely requires local presence.
We have not yet completed an Azure cloud migration for a Charlotte-based client. The closest work we have done is in banking and SaaS.
For a regulated Islamic bank in Somalia, we built a mobile payment platform on Azure using Azure Service Bus, Azure B2C, Azure Key Vault, and an Ocelot API Gateway. The platform handled real-money P2P transfers, merchant QR payments, and international remittances, reaching 100,000 downloads with a 4.8-star rating at launch. The compliance requirements for that project (secrets management, access control, and audit trails for a regulated financial institution) are structurally similar to what Federal Reserve member banks in Charlotte require.

We also built Ergonnex AI 360, an AI-powered project management SaaS, on Azure with React 18, Next.js, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. That engagement covered Azure infrastructure setup, CI/CD pipeline setup, and data architecture for a growing software product.

If neither matches your workload closely, we will say so in the discovery call rather than oversell the relevance.
All pricing is in USD. Typical ranges for Charlotte-area engagements:
For Charlotte clients in banking, FinTech, or healthcare under Federal Reserve or NCDOI oversight, add 15-25% for regulatory overhead. Third-party compliance review adds $5,000-$20,000. Hourly rates run $35-$65 depending on seniority. See our full Azure cloud migration pricing breakdown. For financial services work, see our Azure migration for financial services page for compliance cost modeling detail.

Yes. We do not have a Charlotte office or local North Carolina subcontractors. We cover ET morning hours over Microsoft Teams or Slack, and all code, documentation, and project artifacts live in Azure DevOps. For Charlotte clients in regulated industries, we configure all production workloads to Azure US East or US East 2 regions (both in Virginia) and enforce region-locking via Azure Policy. This satisfies most Federal Reserve and NCDOI data-residency requirements. The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond (5th District, covering North Carolina) publishes technology risk management guidance for supervised institutions, which we reference when scoping migrations for bank clients.
