QServices is a remote-first React Native development company serving Calgary businesses in oil and gas, logistics, agriculture, and FinTech. We are based in India, not Calgary. Our team runs a late-evening shift that overlaps with your 8 to 11 AM Mountain Time window, which is when daily standups and sprint reviews happen.
Calgary's economy runs on sectors where field crews, drivers, and client-facing staff need reliable mobile apps. Based on Calgary's primary industries, the most common project types are:
PIPA Alberta applies to any app that handles Alberta resident data. A React Native app for a Calgary FinTech firm that stores account details, a logistics app that logs driver locations, and an oil and gas app that captures worker identities all carry PIPA obligations. We scope compliance requirements at the start of the project, not after the MVP ships.
Our team is based in India and operates on Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30). Calgary observes Mountain Daylight Time (MDT, UTC-6) from March to November and Mountain Standard Time (MST, UTC-7) the rest of the year. That puts us 11.5 hours ahead in summer and 12.5 hours ahead in winter.
In practice, our team runs a late-evening shift. 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST is 8 AM to 11 AM MDT in summer, and 9 AM to 12 PM MST in winter. We schedule the daily standup and design or code review calls inside that window. Everything else runs async through Slack or Microsoft Teams, with Loom recordings for anything that needs a walkthrough rather than a text message.
Sprint reviews are live video calls. We demo on real device builds using Fastlane-automated iOS and Android builds, so you install directly from TestFlight or Play Store's internal track before each review. On-site visits to Calgary for major milestone reviews are available if the project warrants it.
We do not have a published Calgary client. Here is the closest real work we have done in Calgary's primary industries:
For logistics, we built the My Delivery app: a React Native last-mile delivery management platform with real-time order tracking, proof-of-delivery capture, eLogi-based driver assignment, and Zoho-powered invoice generation. The backend ran on .NET and Vultr Cloud. The result was a complete delivery workflow that a dispatcher ran from a browser and a driver ran from their phone.
Last-mile delivery business
End-to-end delivery management with real-time order tracking and proof of delivery
Zoho-powered invoice generation with two-factor authentication and eLogi integration for driver assignment
For FinTech and consumer mobile, we built Equalution: a React Native client app paired with a React.js dietician web portal, with ML-driven macro targeting and a dual-platform architecture. The same pattern applies to Calgary FinTech apps that need a client-facing mobile experience alongside an advisor or operations dashboard.
Health and nutrition coaching startup
ML-driven personalized calorie and macro targets using body metrics for sustainable diet plans
Dual platform: React.js dietician web app and React Native client mobile app with 80/20 whole-food approach
We have not shipped a production React Native app for oil and gas or agriculture clients in Calgary. If your project is in one of those sectors, we walk you through how we would approach AER reporting requirements and Alberta agriculture compliance during a scoping call before you commit to anything.
All pricing is in USD. Currency conversion is at your end.
For projects that carry PIPA Alberta or AER compliance scope, add 15 to 25 percent for compliance overhead. Each non-trivial system integration (ERP, dispatch, banking middleware) adds $3,000 to $12,000. Most Calgary logistics and FinTech projects land in the medium to large range because of the data integrations involved.

No. QServices is fully remote and based in India. We have no physical presence in Calgary or anywhere in Canada. All work runs over video calls, Slack, and GitHub, with daily overlap during Calgary's morning hours.
When data residency matters, for example when your app must keep Alberta user data within Canadian borders, we deploy the backend on Azure Canada Central or AWS ca-central-1. PIPA Alberta does not mandate in-country storage outright, but many FinTech and energy clients in Alberta prefer it, and we have built for that constraint before.
