QServices is a remote-first software consultancy serving Manchester businesses in Tech, Manufacturing, and Media. We are not headquartered in Manchester. We deliver Power Automate development from India, with approximately 4.5 hours of daily GMT morning overlap. All engagements are UK GDPR-compliant. See all services.
Manchester's Tech, Manufacturing, and Media sectors each share a recognisable pattern: processes that grew up in spreadsheets, email chains, or disconnected line-of-business tools, and now need connecting. Common project types across these three industries:
Under UK GDPR, enforced by the ICO, any Power Automate flow handling personal data requires a documented lawful basis, data minimisation controls, and clear retention periods. We build these into flow design before coding starts. Flows processing employee or customer data also feed into your Article 30 records of processing activity, which we document as part of delivery.
Premium connector licensing is a common budget surprise. We identify which connectors require per-user or per-flow plans during scoping, not after go-live.
QServices is based in India and operates on IST (UTC+5:30). Manchester runs on GMT (UTC+0). The difference is 5.5 hours. Our team extends its working day so that 9:00am to 1:30pm GMT is a live overlap window. That is enough for a daily standup, a design review, or a real-time demo without either side working unusual hours.
A standard engagement runs on weekly Monday calls in the GMT morning window for sprint review and planning, daily async updates via Teams or Slack, and a shared project board you can check at any time. Pull request code reviews carry written comments you can read and respond to on your own schedule. All milestone reviews and go-live decisions are scheduled within the overlap window.
We do not offer on-site visits to Manchester as part of standard engagements. For projects above £25,000, a milestone visit is available if the scope justifies it. Most clients prefer remote delivery and find they do not miss the travel overhead.
Our Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) governance model means a QServices engineer reviews every automated decision point before it reaches production. For UK GDPR purposes, this includes written sign-off on any connector that processes personal data.
We do not have a named Manchester client to reference. Our two closest case studies come from Financial Services and IT Services, which share the process-automation challenges common in Manchester's Tech and Manufacturing sectors.
For a mid-market bank (the BA Systems CRM Integration project), we built a Power Platform solution using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SQL Server. The task was to modernise lead management and opportunity qualification without overwriting the bank's live CRM customisations. We built a dynamic enquiry-source management flow connecting the backend banking system to the CRM in real time, achieving faster lead qualification with no disruption to existing workflows.

For an IT services company (the Smart PM project), Power Automate was part of a broader AI agent stack that captured meeting transcripts via Fireflies.ai, created backlog items in Azure DevOps with Fibonacci story-point assignments, and populated Power BI sprint velocity dashboards. Manual note capture and task allocation were replaced entirely.

Neither project was in Manchester, but both involved production Power Automate flows in organisations with data-handling obligations similar to those UK Tech and Manufacturing buyers face under UK GDPR.
We price in USD. GBP equivalents vary with the exchange rate. Typical ranges for Power Automate projects:
Add $3,000-$12,000 per non-trivial system integration (for example, a manufacturing ERP or a media scheduling platform). If flows process personal data and need a formal third-party compliance review, budget an additional $5,000-$20,000.
For a full cost breakdown, see our Power Automate pricing guide. Manufacturers in the region may also find our Power Automate for manufacturing page useful for sector-specific project shapes.
Three steps: a 30-minute discovery call at no charge, where we ask about your current process and the systems it touches; a scoping document with timeline, cost range, and technical approach sent within three business days; project start within one week of scope approval. Most Manchester enquiries complete discovery and scoping within five business days given the GMT overlap window.
Use the contact form on this page to book. We respond within one business day during GMT morning hours.
Yes. We have a defined GMT morning overlap window from 9:00am to 1:30pm, use Teams or Slack for daily async communication, and keep all project documentation in tools your team already owns such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Notion.
Data processed during the engagement stays within your Microsoft 365 tenant or a specified Azure region in the UK or EU. We do not route data outside the UK unless your existing architecture already does. This is set out in the project scoping agreement before work begins.
