QServices is a remote-first software consultancy serving Miami businesses in FinTech, Real Estate, Logistics, and Healthcare. We are not headquartered in Miami, but we work with Florida clients on legacy system modernization engagements with full ET-hours overlap and Spanish-language client services available throughout the project.
Miami's economy sits at the intersection of international finance, real estate tech, and logistics. Aging software creates direct business risk in all three. Here is what Florida-based buyers most often bring to us:
Florida's Information Protection Act adds state-level data security obligations on top of federal requirements. Any modernization project touching customer PII needs to account for FIPA breach notification timelines and security standards from the design phase, not as an afterthought. For regulated industries, budget an additional 15-25% for compliance overhead. You can review the current requirements directly in the Florida FIPA statute (s.501.171).
We work fully remotely, but with a deliberate ET overlap structure. Our engineers cover 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern for live collaboration. Miami clients get a full business day of synchronous availability without scheduling around a significant time-zone gap.
A typical engagement looks like this:
We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner. If your team already runs on Microsoft 365, Azure, or Teams, there is no new tooling to onboard. We work inside your existing environment. For Miami clients who prefer Spanish-language project communication, our team accommodates that throughout the engagement.
We do not have a Miami office and have not published a Miami-specific case study. Our closest relevant work comes from two projects in sectors that directly overlap with Miami's primary industries.
In investment management, a sector with direct relevance to Miami's FinTech market, we rebuilt a stock analytics platform from scattered spreadsheets into a role-authenticated Azure dashboard with automated scraping and real-time financial metrics. The client ran ASP.NET MVC; we migrated them to .NET Core on Azure with data integrity rules carried over from the original system.
Investment management and stock analytics company
Replaced scattered spreadsheets with a role-authenticated dashboard on Azure with automated scraping and real-time financial metrics
Category-based stock classification (XLF, XLV, XLY) with P/E ratios and earnings schedule tracking
In enterprise software, we took a global company's VB.NET monolith and rewrote it as a .NET 8 and React application on Azure using the strangler-fig pattern, migrating modules incrementally without a big-bang cutover. The project covered management of change, incident tracking, LMS training, and automated scheduling in a single platform.
Global Environmental Health and Safety software company
Improved scalability, maintainability, and global performance after rewriting a legacy VB.NET monolith
Streamlined Management of Change, Incidents and Events, Action Items, LMS training, and automated scheduling in a single platform
Both projects required migrating business logic and data integrity rules from the old codebase, not just rewriting the UI layer. That distinction matters: leaving validation rules buried in legacy code is the most common reason modernization projects fail in production. See our full legacy modernization service page for the technical approach we follow on every engagement.
All engagements are priced in USD. Our rates range from $20/hour (standard) to $65/hour (senior architect). Total project cost depends on scope:
If your project touches HIPAA, Florida Information Protection Act obligations, or financial regulator scope, add 15-25% to the base estimate for compliance overhead. Each non-trivial system integration (payment gateways, MLS APIs, EHR connectors) adds $3,000-$12,000. See our full breakdown on the legacy modernization cost page.

Yes. We have worked with US-based clients remotely since QServices was founded in 2010. Our engineers maintain ET business hours, so there is no meaningful scheduling friction for Miami clients. Communication runs through Teams or Slack; code through GitHub or Azure DevOps. We schedule milestone demos at ET-friendly times and can arrange on-site visits for kickoff or critical reviews when needed.
For data residency, all project data stays in Azure regions you control. US East is our default for US clients, which addresses FIPA requirements and most federal data handling obligations. We do not store your data on our own infrastructure beyond what is required to run the engagement.
Share your requirements with QServices. Our engineers will give you a straight answer on fit, timeline, and cost — no sales scripts.
