QServices is a legacy system modernization company serving Miami clients in FinTech, Real Estate, Logistics, and Healthcare. We are not based in Miami. We work remotely, with two to three hours of daily overlap between ET mornings and IST evenings.
Miami's industry mix shapes the modernization projects we see from Florida clients. Most fall into one of these categories:
Florida's Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA) adds a compliance layer to any project that touches personal data of Florida residents. FIPA sets breach notification timelines and security requirements that affect how we design data migration, encryption at rest, and audit logging. We factor this into architecture decisions before the first sprint, not after. For current FIPA guidance, the Florida Attorney General's office publishes requirements for businesses handling Florida resident data.

Miami runs on Eastern Time. Our engineering team in India is 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead, depending on U.S. daylight saving. That gives a working overlap window of roughly 8:00 to 10:30 AM ET, when our senior engineers are finishing their workday and are available for live calls, pull request reviews, or demo walkthroughs.
A typical engagement works like this: we hold a weekly video standup in that ET morning window. Between calls, the team posts end-of-day summaries in Slack or Microsoft Teams so Miami stakeholders see progress each morning before they start their own day. Code reviews run asynchronously in GitHub. We do not hold reviews to synchronous calls unless something needs live discussion.
For milestone reviews such as architecture sign-off, UAT, or go-live, we schedule extended sessions. For large platform engagements, on-site visits are available. We also offer Spanish-language client services, which is directly relevant for a portion of Miami's business community.
For pricing and engagement structure, see our legacy modernization cost page.
We do not have a Miami-based client we can name. The cases below are the closest match to Miami's primary industries.
For FinTech and investment analytics, we built a stock analytics and categorization platform for an investment management company. The project replaced scattered spreadsheet workflows with a role-authenticated Azure dashboard featuring automated scraping, real-time financial metrics, P/E ratios, and earnings tracking by sector category (XLF, XLV, XLY).

For the core modernization pattern, we rewrote a global VB.NET monolith to .NET 8 and React on Azure for an Environmental Health and Safety software company. The engagement covered Management of Change, Incidents and Events, LMS training, and automated scheduling, with improved scalability and global performance.

Neither project is in Florida. What these cases show is the technical pattern, .NET-to-.NET 8 strangler-fig migration on Azure, that most Miami FinTech and Healthcare modernization projects require. For more on regulated-industry engagements, see our legacy modernization for FinTech page.
Cost depends on scope: the number of services being extracted, data migration complexity, and whether Florida FIPA compliance review is included. All rates are in USD.
Add 15 to 25 percent for regulatory compliance overhead if the project falls under HIPAA or FIPA audit scope. Each non-trivial third-party integration adds $3,000 to $12,000. See our full cost breakdown for a detailed walkthrough by engagement type.
Three steps: a 30-minute discovery call to understand your system's current state and goals; a scoping document with a phased migration plan, timeline, and fixed-range cost estimate; then a project start date and a two-week discovery sprint.
We typically respond to new inquiries within one business day and are reachable during ET business hours for initial conversations.
Yes. We have no physical office in Miami or Florida. All engagements run remotely using the workflow described above: ET morning calls, async updates via Slack or Teams, and milestone reviews on video. On-site visits are available for large platform projects if the client requires it.
For data residency: we configure Azure or AWS deployments to use U.S.-based data centers. Personal data of Florida residents does not route through India-based infrastructure. This directly addresses FIPA obligations and any contractual data-residency requirements your business carries.
