Software delivery governance is the reason we still have clients after five years. Not the AI tools we use, not the certifications on our wall. Governance is what keeps projects on time, on budget, and out of post-mortems. That is why we publish our delivery metrics publicly, every quarter, and it is why we think every software vendor should do the same.
This post explains what we measure, why transparency matters in ai augmented software development, and what a responsible ai implementation framework actually looks like when tied to real numbers rather than marketing copy. If you work with a software partner who cannot show you a delivery record, that silence tells you something important. We believe the opposite approach, publishing everything, builds the kind of trust that survives difficult projects.
We publish four primary delivery metrics every quarter: on-time completion rate, budget adherence, client-reported satisfaction, and post-launch defect rate. Each one is calculated from project data across all active engagements, not cherry-picked from our best months.

1. No formal approval checkpoints. Teams build for weeks before a stakeholder sees anything. By the time someone flags a wrong assumption, two sprints of work need to be redone.
2. Ambiguous scope at project start. Vendor and client use the same words to mean different things. "Integration with the CRM" means one thing to a developer and another to a sales manager. Without a written, signed scope document, every assumption becomes a future conflict.
3. AI outputs accepted without review. The enforcement mechanism is what separates governance from intention.

What criteria did they use? If you cannot answer those three questions for every AI contribution to a project, you do not have responsible ai implementation.
